We at the Maiden Network™ understand that content rating is an important tool used to manage viewing habits. The ability to designate classifications of movies, tv shows and other related content helps a viewer to guage whether or not the content is suitable for themselves or their children. Classification of content in terms of issues such as language, violence, nudity, substance abuse, impudence or other types of mature scenarios is of the upmost important to us.


PLEASE REVIEW THE LIST BELOW TO FAMILIARIZE YOURSELF WITH OUR RATING SYSTEM

CONTENT RATED G or TV-G

Programs rated G or TV-G are generally suitable for all ages. No content will be objectionable to most parents and guardians. Content may not contain language with profanity. No violence may be featured in content with this rating.

CONTENT RATED PG or TV-PG

This program contains material that parents may find unsuitable for younger children. Programs rated PG or TV-PG contain material that parents or guardians may find inappropriate for younger children. Programs assigned a PG or TV-PG rating may include mild profanity, suggestive dialogue and/or violence.

CONTENT RATED PG-13 or TV-14

This program contains some material that many parents would find unsuitable for children under 13 and 14 years of age respectively. Content may contain sex references, up to four uses of explicit language, drug innuendo, strong crude/suggestive humor, mature/suggestive themes, blood, and/or moderate actions of violence. The FCC warns that "Parents are cautioned to exercise some care in monitoring this program and are cautioned against letting children under the appropriate age watch unattended."

CONTENT RATED R, TV-MA or ATERDARK

This program is specifically designed to be viewed by adults only and therefore unsuitable for children under 17. Programs rated ATERDARK, R or TV-MA may contain nudity, adult material and sexual scenarios. Children under 17 are not allowed to view content with this rating. Parents are advised that content featuring this rating may contain mild or implied sex scenes, prolonged nudity, strong violence often with blood and gore, profanity and explicit/illegal/prolonged drug use.
